Dr. Brigitte Gordon

I am a doctoral-trained, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in adult and geriatric psychiatric medication management and therapy with a subspecialty in integrative psychiatry to fully support my patients. My current practice, Hudson Mental Wellness, is a private practice in Dobbs Ferry, NY, dedicated to the integrative treatment of psychiatry utilizing psychodynamic and motivational interviewing therapeutic techniques and other, evidence-based modalities of wellness.

I am an assistant professor at Columbia University School of Nursing in the doctoral program. I also work as a researcher with the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

I was originally trained in the Emergency Department at Orange Regional Medical Center, then acted as Consult Liaison for psychiatric cases on the medical floor and managing complicated cases in the outpatient behavioral health clinic. At that time, I was also providing psychiatric care to multiple nursing and rehabilitation centers in Orange County, NY.

I am a graduate of Temple University’s Honors Program, University of Pennsylvania’s Post-Baccalaureate Nursing Program and Columbia University’s School of Nursing, where I was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master in Nursing, and Doctor in Nursing.

I am an avid hiker, yoga and meditation practitioner, and dog-lover.
